Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Sonar LiDAR handles your data. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.
1. No Personal Data Collection
We respect your privacy. We do not collect, store, share, or sell any personal data. The App operates entirely on your device and does not require you to create an account or log in. No data is transmitted to external servers.
2. LiDAR and Camera Usage
The App uses the LiDAR sensor and Camera of your device solely for the purpose of detecting obstacles and facilitating navigation in real-time.
- Local Processing: All depth data and camera frames are processed locally on your device using Apple’s ARKit.
- No Storage: We do not record, save, or transmit any images or video feeds from your camera or LiDAR sensor. The data is discarded instantaneously after the distance calculation is performed.
3. In-App Purchases
The App offers optional In-App Purchases (e.g., “Tip Jar”).
- Transactions: All financial transactions are handled directly by Apple via the App Store. We do not have access to your credit card information, billing address, or transaction history.
- Verification: We only receive a digital receipt from Apple to confirm that a purchase was completed successfully.
4. Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect any user data at all, this applies to users of all ages.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
We do not use third-party analytics, cloud-based transcription services under our control, or tracking tools.
